For my most recent professional charge artist gig, I had the opportunity to paint Tony Ferrieri's stunning set design for Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre's production for Shaw's Heartbreak House (2005). As many times as I have painted the floor of the Charity Randall Theatre, this parquet nautical compass stands as one of the most challenging and rewarding surfaces I've ever attempted as an artist (not to mention the sheer quantity of surfaces the rest of the set provided).
